Taught by a seasoned street photographer, this class offers a blend of historical insight and practical skills. You’ll explore the works of both iconic and lesser-known street photographers to enhance your visual literacy and inspire your creative vision. The goal is to train your eye to see the world through the lens of a street photographer, capturing moments that often go unnoticed. During the session, you will take a short photo walk, allowing you to practice your new skills in real-time.

Antonio M. Rosario is a Brooklyn-based photographer specializing in fine art and commercial work. A seasoned street photographer, he's also a skilled educator in the field and the engaging host of the “Street Shots” photography podcast. Antonio's journey in photography began at the School of Visual Arts, inspired by his father's legacy in the craft. From photo editor to full-time photographer, his work captures the dynamic spirit of New York City, reflecting influences from iconic photographers like Berenice Abbott and Walker Evans. Dedicated to his art, Antonio champions the idea that great photography is accessible to everyone, encouraging beginners to embrace their unique perspectives, regardless of the camera in hand, as they explore the world through their lens.
